As a photographer I’m mainly interested in the landscape and the abstract images that can be found within it.

I take a lot of inspiration from the urban landscape and architecture, and appreciate the strong lines and patterns which can often be found in man made structures, as well as the more subtle features of nature.

I live on the on the border of County Durham and Northumberland so I've got some great scenery almost on the doorstep, and of course the fantastic North East coast is only an hours drive away.

Although I have a digital SLR I still use film cameras. Different methods of capture will give slightly different effects, but for me photography is all about the end result.

There will be regular updates to the Landscape, Abstract and Mono galleries, and as my work evolves new galleries may appear.
